Breakfast with Aunt Shannon

My Aunt Shannon was in town for her high school reunion, and we took the opportunity to get together for breakfast. Bryan made German pancakes, a favorite dish, (he's really good at it, too!) We had so much fun visiting, laughing and reminiscing about our travels and adventures over the last few years. I was able to stay at my Aunt Shannon & Uncle Bob's house for almost a week when I was in Portland last year getting ready for our wedding. We had so much fun and Shannon was such a huge help with preparation...and she my Uncle Bob helped a TON with our reception, handling all of the food. THANK YOU!!

Shannon was Camp Director in the Portland Oregon East Stake for several years while I was attending girl's camp, and we also went on a few Summiteer Hike backpacking trips together. I have so many fun memories with her and I'm so glad that she is a part of my life. It's also fun for me to be able to have Bryan visit with extended family that can tell him about my mom, since he hasn't had the opportunity to meet her. It means a lot to me that my Aunt calls at least once a month to see how we're doing and find out what's going on in our lives. She also makes an effort to let me know whenever she's coming into town so that we can get together...and no matter how busy she is, she makes time to get together.
